Star Sounds Orchestra hit various genres in their over 20 years ongoing career, starting from the deep insights of Berlin School, crossing over hard core new age to contemporary electronic trance music. The two cosmic space shamans Steve Schroyder (Freiburg) and Jens Zygar (Hamburg) committed and dedicated their lifes to the one source of everything, which is space music & multidimensional sounds.
SSO performs on festivals all over the world and their extatic live-shows are mindblowing and breathtaking. Collaborations with various musicans, especially with the singer Irina Mikhailova, highlight the joyful SSO live-act happenings.
With their exciting concerts all over the planet, the SSO established a new genre of cosmic live-music, where state of the art electronica in combination with analog acoustic environments create multidimensional intriguing soundscapes. Basically the band is inspired by the works of the suisse mathematican Hans Cousto, who wrote essential publications about the Cosmic Octave, a scientific discipline, that deals with the expressions of the harmonical structures of nature within cosmic, spheric ambient, meditation and trance music.
