In October of 1983 Dj Duke "S.o.m.n.i.u.m." (Simon Wagner) was born, in Lörrach, a little city in the deepest south of Germany near the boarders to France and switzerland.
Dj Dukes first contact with electronic was in 1993, he heared "Marusha - Somewhere over the Rainbow" and was totally freaked out. After that Dj duke becames infected to an radioshow for electronic music from a local radio channel, the name of the show was "Charly 2000".
In 2002 Dj Duke made his first own experiences with an Dj Set. He saved all his slush-money to buy own Dj Equipment, a DJM 500 from Pioneer and two Technicks MK2.
From up there djing was his passion. In 2010 Dj Duke startetd to produce music himself so he created his Producing Pseudonym "S.o.m.n.i.u.m"
